Therapeutic Application

Organophosphate nerve agents (sarin, VX, novichok) irreversibly phosphorylate AChE -> ACh accumulates -> cholinergic crisis. BCI impact: massive EEG distortion, seizure activity, NMJ fasciculation artifacts. Tokyo subway survivors showed EEG abnormalities 5 years post-exposure (Yanagisawa 2006). DEFENSIVE FRAMING: threat is BCI signal integrity during chemical exposure. Countermeasures: atropine (mAChR antagonist), pralidoxime (AChE reactivator <30min). BCI as diagnostic sensor for exposure detection.
